  • Obtain your boarding pass from the easy-to-use International Self Check-in Machines.
  • Leave your baggage at the designated baggage check-in counter (at airports equipped with International Self Check-in Machines).

  • Please obtain your boarding pass at least 60 minutes before the scheduled flight departure time. (First Class and Executive Class passengers should obtain their boarding passes at least 45 minutes prior to scheduled flight departure time.)

    *Some passengers such as those with connections may not be eligible to use International Self Check-in Machines. For more details, ask JAL staff at the airport.
    *You may also collect your boarding pass(es) from check-in counters at airports with Ticketing and Check-in Machines.


    • *You must have your e-ticket customer receipt or ATB ticket (magnetic boarding pass) to obtain your boarding pass. Please keep these items with you at the airport before and after using Web Check-In Service.

* Please do NOT check-in online if you:

  • Will require assistance when boarding an aircraft.
    *Are traveling with infants aged under 2 who will not occupy their own seat. Instead, please use a Ticketing and Check-in Machine.
  • Have the same first and last names as another person with the same reservation.
  • If your JAL Group reservation number has NOT been entered into, please:
    Confirm and enter the reservation number of your JL/Japan Airlines or JO/JALways flight.
    *) Please note that reservation numbers for bookings made via outside systems (e.g. travel agents) may differ from reservation numbers for JAL Group flights.
  • If the same JMB membership number you used during login does not appear in your reservation record, please:
    *) Confirm the JMB membership number you booked with your travel agent or direct with JAL.
  • For some unqualified tours, please:
    *) Check with the travel agent with whom you made your reservation.
  • If information for your scheduled flight has been changed because of booking changes, etc., but you have yet to update your e-ticket information.
